Learning outcomes: assessment and accountable evidence
A course should state what learners will demonstrate and how that will be assessed. Outcomes need evidence, not only a dashboard.

Define what counts as achievement
Write objectives around observable tasks. Match assessment activities to those objectives.
Use formative feedback during learning and clearly defined summative criteria at the endpoint.
Separate participation from competency
Enrolment and completion describe participation. Assessment results describe performance under the stated assessment conditions.
Neither alone establishes changed clinical practice or improved patient outcomes. Those claims require appropriate additional evaluation.
Report measurements responsibly
Specify the population, denominator, dates, baseline and measurement method.
Disclose missing data and limits. Do not attribute a change solely to a learning platform without supporting evidence.
